When I received a phone call from California in late June, a conversation started between a buyer who was about to close on this gorgeous Cary home. Their plans had changed and they were no longer relocating to the East Coast. We had to give the market a reason to consider this home. The problem was, it had sat on the market for over 100 days. The original owner had not made updates since it's construction in 1993. With over 6,000 square feet of living space, the project was overwhelming to many. While my client had the vision, she no longer had the time. Life was keeping her on the West Coast and she wanted to sell after owning this diamond in the rough for four days.
We hired trusted resources to freshen the space and ensure people this could be a spectacular haven located in one of Cary's most sought after neighborhoods. I knew staging would be needed to help potential buyers navigate the space and envision themselves living here. I am grateful for the trust of my client who trusted my team and our vision. I am grateful to the hard work that so many people completed. And I am grateful to the buyer. After just six days on market, we were able to get multiple offers, two of whom had viewed the property the first time on the market but were too overwhelmed to place an offer.
