Hi! My name is Madeline McAdams. I am a Junior at North Carolina State University studying Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. Deciding to go to NC State has been one of the best decisions of my life. I joined a sorority freshman year, Sigma Kappa, where I met some of my closest friends that I know will be in my life forever. North Carolina State has not only given me the opportunity to grow as a person but also grow academically. My passion for Real Estate started when I was in middle school. I would go on Zillow everyday and look up houses in my area, or houses at the beach that I would dream of living in. I can’t wait to embark on this internship with Melanie, and learn more about the Real Estate industry.
Transitioning from the small town of Winston-Salem to the growing city of Raleigh, North Carolina for college at North Carolina State University has been one of the best experiences and decisions I have made. I envision calling Raleigh home post-graduation because I am never bored here. It's a place where my friends and I always discover exciting and new activities.
Indulging in shopping is one of my favorite pastimes, and Raleigh proves to be a great spot for shoppers like me. North Hills and Village District are my go to spots. Having the Village District two minutes away from my house is always convenient for a busy college student like myself.
A favorite spot that my friends and I frequently go to is Lola’s Beach Bar in Five Points. We love the tacos and the outdoor atmosphere because it feels like we are on a beach vacation but we’re still close to campus. Another fantastic spot that we go to is Players Retreat which is off of Hillsborough Street that runs into North Carolina State University campus. The lively atmosphere makes it a perfect place to cheer on the Wolfpack.
